The Dulverton Regional Waste Management Authority (DWM) operates a regional landfill facility on behalf of Devonport City, Central Coast, Latrobe and Kentish Councils. The DWM Board of Directors is accountable to the Representatives of these Councils. The Board develops strategic focus for DWM with the involvement of key stakeholders and oversights management and operation of the business.

Due to pending retirements of the current Chair and a Non-Executive Director, applications are invited for two Non-Executive Director positions. Once these two roles are filled, the Representatives of the Shareholder Councils will appoint a Chair from the existing and newly appointed Directors. Some previous experience as a Board member is required and applicants without formal Director qualifications must be willing to complete the AICD Directors course within twelve months of appointment to the Board. A demonstrated interest in the delivery of waste management services in the Cradle Coast Region is necessary.

Experience in, or a strong understanding of, Local Government is preferred and knowledge of environmental science and waste management will be well regarded.
